Mini cable sheath testing, fault conditioning & pinpointing system 6kV
Mini system for analysing and pinpointing cable (outer) sheath faults on shielded or unshielded plastic insulated cables. Suit-able for routine & commissioning tests on various types of cable networks. Detecting sheath faults during commissioning is considered to be a most effective pre-emptive procedure that reduces future cable failures and its associated costs significantly. The system includes the lightweight HV tester HTD 6 plus the ultra-precise pinpointer Locator S employing the step-voltage method. An optional available HV bridge BFL 6 can be used for isolating and pre-locating high resistant faults. More option such as the TDR InterFlex 140 and suitable HV couplers allow to upgrade to a multi-featured test system
